I am in Melbourne now, staying in a nice serviced apartment @ St Kilda. I wish I can get to know Melbourne a little better, as recently I've had a chance to come to Melbourne every now and then.
This time, my friends and I went to a very nice winery in Yarra Valley for lunch. The difference between Yarra and Hunter Valley is that the wineries in Yarra Valley are all over the valley, whereas the wineries in the Hunter are more centralised.
Personally I reckon the taste for white wines are alot lighter in Yarra than the ones in the Hunter. My friends are serious wine collectors. All the wines they collected have put away nicely in the Kennards Self Storage - Wine storage section. I have never heard of this kind of thing before - I always thought that they only provide storage solutions for furnitures etc. Apparently they have one section that is exclusively for wine storage. They have a temperature and humidity control to keep good wines safe. Of course they have to be good wines in order to qualify for a place in there :)
Will post some photos soon.

Sometimes I wonder...
What is it like when you don't have a stable job (deliberately), and do contracting here and there?
Must be fun.

Headache
Today I had a headache that followed me around whole day. It went away for a bit after lunch time but it came back after 4pm until now!
Why why why? Why am I forced to do all these things? They always want you to do something in order to "see your talent"or something. IS THIS REALLY NECESSARY?
I just want to be happy. thats it.

Its meant to be a hot chocolate - where you put the small pieces of chocolate into a cup, melt it in the microwave, and put some milk onto the melted chocolates.
However i was just too lazy and put the chocolate directly into my mouth :P
Yummy.

My new toy :D
Been sick and tired of my "brick" mobile phone, I have decided to search for a new one.
My ideal phone would be a small and compact all-in-one phone with touch screen.
At the moment i don't think theres anything available on the market yet....so i have to find my next ideal one I suppose.
I always wanted to go back to Nokia as I found it more user-friendly.
Here is my new phone :)

Stress and how to distress
What would you do if you are having a bad/stressful day at work? It can be range from missing your bus/train on your way to work, making some silly errors during work, or just simply don’t feel like working at all.
For me, I would prefer going onto the treadmill and “run it off”. Recently I found that when I am stressed at work, by hopping onto a treadmill can actually reduce my stress level, forcing myself not to think too much. At the same time it gives you a clear mind after finishing your workout.
Different people have different distressing techniques. What’s yours?

Self Pity - What's the point?
Sometimes I found myself self pitying on how "bad luck" I was when something negative happened, or things not planned as smooth as it would be. The more I self pity, the more depressed I wouuld become.
From now on, when I have encountered things that are not going as planned, I will write them down - the mistakes i have faced, some analysis on why I made the mistake, and FOCUS ON how to avoid the SAME mistake in future - is the key point.

Makeup - NARS Eyeshadows
I was walking in the Ocean Terminal (HK) one day and spotted some eye makeups at the NARS counter. They have heaps of colours there.
Since the eyeshadows I had in my collection were all pale colours, (ie light pink, cream, etc) I wanted to get some colours that will stand out more on my eyes. The lady there was very patient, she was trying to demostrate 'smoky' eyes on my eyes....
Two new colours were added into my collection:

2 colours (without flash)
Still haven't tried the eyeshadows as yet...hehe

Back to Sydney...again
I went to HK at the end of September for about 2 weeks, to attend a good friend's wedding, and of course, some retail therapy^^
I had a good time indeed, 2 weeks away from work and all that. When I came back, people told me that I LOOK relaxed.:)
Although I didn't get to go to other interesting places this time (other than Shenzhen and Zhuhai), I got to spend time with my family, which was very valuable to me.
I will be posting some interesting photos hat I took from this trip, might take awhile though :)

Singapore Stopover Aug 07
We stopped at Singapore for a few days before we head back to Sydney from Taipei. Although the temperature (according to the weather report) was similar to Taipei, it felt more humid and hotter.
Since Singapore is a small city, we basically just walk around the city area after some more retail therapy :P

so many ppl on Orchard Road

And after some nice food too :)

Taiwan - Taipei Computer Exihibition
I was looking at the Yahoo Taiwan website in the hotel when we were in Taiwan one night and found out that there was a computer exhibition at the Taipei Convention Centre. And it was free on the last day of the exhibition. We thought, perfect, we could just go there on the way, as we were heading towards to that direction (Taipei 101) anyway.

Taiwan - Making of Hot Herbal Jelly
We were walking in the Raohe Nightmarket one night. It was raining on that night, so not alot of stalls were open.
After dinner and dessert, we spotted this stall selling cold herbal jelly, herbal teas, and guess what, HOT HERBAL JELLY AS WELL! (Apparently it was summer in that time we went there, so there wasn't alot of places selling hot herbal jellies because of the weather)
However we found out that they only sell hot ones during winter time. But the person there was nice enough to make one for me - maybe because he saw the disappointment on my face.
Therefore I was lucky enough to see the making of the hot herbal jelly:)
Step 1: Cooking of syrup

Step 2: heating up of herbal tea (仙草茶)

Step 3:Mixing syrup and corn flour into herbal tea
